THE 8TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF APPLIED LINGUISTICS TODAY – MODERN APPROACHES TO OLD AND NEW CHALLENGES
The general theme of the conference is focused on, but not limited to, the following topics:
Theoretical frameworks in applied linguistics
Empirical research in applied linguistics
Interdisciplinary research (applied ethnolinguistics, applied geolinguistics, applied anthropolinguistics, etc.)
Literacy in the 21st century
Contrastive analysis and applied linguistics
Cross-curricular teaching and learning
Applied linguistics and new linguistics in contemporary teaching practice
Besides the topics related to the general theme, a workshop is planned to be organized under the working title Applied Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence.
